Note all fashion shoes are made in standard sizes (you may wish to include a foot drawing if you're not sure of your standard Australian size. Costume shoes and boots are made to measure and therefore require full measurements to be taken. See instructions.

Please have a friend measure your feet for you. We cannot fulfil your order unless the following precise measurements are forwarded to us by post. (Unfortunately fax machines can alter the size of a drawing) Consult sample order form below to see how it's done. We refer to centimetres as the standard measuring unit. If you only have a tape measure with inches, that';s fine, but please specify. When you are finished scroll down to the very bottom of this page to check your drawing looks something like the sample one.

1. Stand barefoot perfectly still with one foot on the order form, with even weight on both feet. If foot is long, please stand with the foot diagonally on the page or use large piece of paper. Using a ballpoint pen at a 90-degree angle to the paper, draw carefully around the foot.

Then, with the pen at a 45-degree angle draw around the foot again.

This line should be inside the 90-degree line.

Ball of Foot:

2. While the customer is still standing on the paper, use a tape measure and measure over and across the widest part of the ball of the foot. DO NOT MEASURE UNDER THE FOOT.
Mark the two points on either side and write the measurements in centimetres or inches.

Instep of Foot:

3. Measure over the instep of the foot in the same way, and mark accordingly.

Toes:

4. Measure the toes following the same procedure. If ordering pointed toed shoes, note whether toes squeeze together with ease or not. If they do, measure again like this. Some feet aren't suited to pointed toed shoes.
Leg measurements:

5. Now measure up 10cm to the anklebone, and then around the ankle at this point.
Continue measuring up and around the leg at 5cm intervals up to the desired boot height. * Mark an asterix at the knee joint if a tall boot.

Pointed Heel/Instep Circumference:

6.Now have the customer point their toe. Measure from the extremity of the heel around the top of the instep and back to the heel as in diagram.

This measurement is crucial with pull on boots, so please measure at the widest point.

Please include your usual foot size (specify country), your height and approximate weight.

Repeat all these steps on the back of the same page for the other foot and leg.

Important - please let us know of any pre-existing conditions, for example, bunions or sensitive, painful areas of the feet so we can make your shoes or boots as comfortable as possible.
The sample order form below will give you a rough idea of what your foot drawing should look like.
